When the room has a small area, an inter-storey spiral staircase fits perfectly, aesthetically into the interior. Oversized items, furniture will be inconvenient to carry, but a huge plus is saving space, negates this drawback. • All elements of the stairs, manufactured independently, must correspond to the dimensions according to the drawing.

Designing

Metal, wood, concrete are used in the manufacture of stairs. It all depends on the type, design, personal preferences.

But – first, a drawing of the future project is made, the location of the inter-storey staircase is determined, a number of issues are solved:

• Will it be at the junction of the walls or in the center of the room?
• Is the flooring suitable for these purposes?
• Will it withstand the load of the entire structure during use?
• What is the size and type of the future staircase?
• From what material (wood, metal, a combination of them) will the structure be assembled?
• Are you planning to purchase a complete set of parts for assembly (ready-made project) or can they be made independently?

Manufacturing process

They proceed to the installation of the marches, attaching the risers to them, the steps themselves, striving to perfectly combine the parts without gaps. To secure the march from below, at the base, a supporting cross beam is used, anchors and bolts are used from above, to the interstory floor. Fences are mounted with the reinforcement of balusters and intermediate posts using metal studs.
